When Isaveth’s father is arrested, it is up to her to try and prove her father is innocent.

Only in a world of magic the rich have all the magic they desire and the poor can barely afford to eat it’s not going to be easy. After forming a friendship with a street boy called Quiz, will Isaveth save her father? Or will he go to the gallows?

A brilliant fantasy story with a crime to solve as well - what more could you want?

Fantastically written with a well thought out plot, which will keep you guessing, who is innocent and who is the villain? I really enjoyed this book, the characters are believable and the author has shown a sense of emotions within friendships. This book has the right amount of mystery and twists; it will leave you wanting to read more.

This book deserves 10/10!
