A modern day fairytale set in a museum with an unlikely heroine.

Ophelia and the Marvellous Boy is a story Karen Foxlee and suitable for children in year 6.

Ophelia is an ordinary girl accompanying her father on a business trip. When she and her Sister visit the museum where her father is working, curious events lead Ophelia on a mission that she must not fail. The villain is obvious but will Ophelia be successful?

After a gradual start the story takes an eerie turn, which gave me goose bumps and made me want to carry on reading. I would say if you like creepy reads then this is for you.

You can find a copy of Ophelia and the Marvellous Boy in the school library.
