Subject: STAFF CoVID TESTING

Dear Team,

It is the end of week 3 and I am extremely proud of what we have achieved for our children and families. Everyone is working their very best to provide dual education (remotely and at the same time in class) to the highest standards possible. Thank you for your immense efforts, adaptability, and calm in the most stressful of times.

This week we have received our staff Covid home testing kits, advice documents from the government/NHS and training to provide home testing kits for all staff from January 25th. The appeal is to our individual sense of social responsibility to participate in the testing during this pandemic, to protect ourselves and other people by testing twice a week; any one of us could be asymptomatic.

You will find a letter below explaining arrangements further and along with additional necessary documents that you must read. It is essential reading for everyone. Please read my letter first before reading the other documents, there is also a doc entitled 'Frequently Asked Questions'. We are arranging inset for all staff to take place remotely via Teams for Wednesday January 27th 3.30-4.30 to go through key aspects, explain our thinking about timings for the test and answer any questions.
