Hook Schools Community Association

The Hook Schools Community Association (HSCA) is a registered charity, which exists to raise money for both the Hook schools in order to enhance the children's environment and learning.

The HSCA aims to foster social contact between parents and Hook residents and reinforce the key roles of the schools in our village. As a parent of a child at either Hook Infant or Hook Junior School, you are automatically a member of the HSCA.

Members are represented by a committee of thirteen parents and both head teachers. Members are elected at the Annual General Meeting, which is held at the beginning of the new school year.

We run a variety of events throughout the year including the Summer and Christmas fairs, children's end of term Discos, social evenings and Bonfire Night Fireworks.

Communication From The HSCA

The HSCA advertise events through newsletters, which are circulated the Junior School, the Infant School, Hook Focus and posters around the village. Around the time of the fairs we organise raffles and the tickets for these are also sent out via your children.

Contribution From Parents

A number of events each year require additional helpers. If you are willing to support the activities of the HSCA by volunteering, please contact one of the HSCA team and add your name to one of the sign up sheets when our events are approaching.

You can learn more about the activities of the HSCA and find details of forthcoming events on the Hook Schools Community Association website.
