SAT Preparation For Children In Year 6

SATs Test

As you know, Year 6 is an important year for your children and preparations are being made in school to support and prepare them for the SAT examinations later this year.

On Tuesday 24th March 2015 at 6.00pm, we will be presenting information on the SATs tests; including what to expect, how to support your children before and during the week, and the changes to the test format. Refreshments will be available and the evening should last about an hour.

The purpose of the evening is to provide parents and carers with information and allow us to answer any questions you may have; your children will be given the information they need to know at school, as we want them to feel prepared and understand the process, whilst not making them feel too anxious. Therefore, we recommend that children do not attend this evening.

During the evening, we will be referring to a number of SAT papers from 2014. Links to all of these documents have been provided below for your reference, along with the presentation slides we will cover during the session. Each of these documents is in Adobe Acrobat format and in order to view them on a Windows computer, you will need to have Adobe Acrobat Reader installed.
